Solano jail inmate dies at Fairfield hospital

FAIRFIELD — Five days after being moved from the Solano County jail to NorthBay Medical Center, a jail inmate died Wednesday of unknown causes.

The inmate, 51-year-old Harry Terwilliger, had been at the jail since August 2011.

Jail staff reported that Terwilliger complained of back pain Friday. He was examined by jail medical staff and moved to the medical wing. He was moved Saturday to NorthBay’s intensive care unit.

An autopsy will be conducted in Sacramento to determine Terwilliger’s cause of death. There is no indication that Terwilliger was the victim of a criminal act, according to a Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

I believe this is the second 50 something to die in Gary Stanton's rat cage in the last year. Sounds like kidney failure and dehydration to me. Will there be a full accounting or just another habeus corpus denial and coverup?
