FAIRFIELD — Six Fairfield residents facing murder or torture charges pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Solano County Superior Court.

The suspects are accused of killing 27-year-old Keith E. Osby Jr. on May 13.

Damarcus V. Armstrong, 19; Frank P. Bigoski, 27; Janiel D. Miller, 40; Tina M. Odom, 18; Khalil I. Askari-Roberts, 31, and  Jennifer E. Whittington, 18, were all ordered back to court Aug. 1 when a date for a probable cause hearing may be scheduled.

Osby, a Fairfield resident, was shot and killed execution-style in the parking lot of the Springbrook Masonic Temple in Vallejo. His body, dumped in some shrubbery, was discovered the next morning by temple employees.

Police believe Armstrong was the shooter.

Osby was tortured at a San Andreas Street home in Fairfield before being taken to Vallejo and killed, according to authorities.

All six suspects are being held without bail.
