Sheriff’s Office investigates body found in Vallejo

FAIRFIELD — The Solano County Sheriff’ Office is working to identify a cause of death for a man found dead Sunday in a backyard in rural Vallejo.

Deputies responded to a report at approximately 12:50 p.m. of a dead body on the 1200 block of Warren Avenue. The victim was only described as an adult male, according to reports.

Detectives and crime scene technicians were called to the scene to investigate. The body was taken to the Solano County Coroner’s Office, where an autopsy was performed Monday.

No obvious cause of death was determined and more investigation is necessary, according to reports. The case remained under investigation.
