FAIRFIELD — Three people were arrested Tuesday after police searched a home in rural Fairfield and found weapons and suspected drugs, according to police.
Officers with the Vacaville Police Narcotics Enforcement Team, Vacaville Crime Suppression Team and the Fairfield Narcotics Team served a search warrant just after 11 a.m. on the 2500 block of Ledgewood Road between Suisun Valley Road and Mankas Corner Road, police said in a press release Thursday.
Police said three handguns and about 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, with a street value of between $25,000 and $60,000, was found along with what police described as evidence of drug sales.
Brenda L. Gardner, 50, and Staci L. Garant, 29, both of Suisun City, were booked into the county jail on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance for sale. Bail for each was set at $15,000. Gardner was also booked on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance while armed, with bail set at $25,000.
Jeffrey M. Kuzdenyi, 66, of Fairfield, was booked on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, with bail set at $15,000. All three were also held on suspicion of possession of a methamphetamine pipe, a misdemeanor, with bail set at $1,600 apiece.
Two children were taken into protective custody and released to child protective services, according to the press release.
