VACAVILLE — Police are looking for witnesses who may have seen a hit-and-run incident that occurred about 8:13 p.m. Tuesday on the 500 block of Davis Street.
A vehicle hit a pedestrian near the Bella Vista Park-and-Ride lot. Someone was reported down in the middle of the road, according to a police press release. When police arrived at the scene, they found an allegedly intoxicated female on the sidewalk, bleeding from the leg, who said she had been hit by a vehicle, according to the press release.
Police said the 38-year-old woman’s injuries were consistent with being hit by a vehicle. The vehicle allegedly failed to stop. The woman was taken to a local hospital and admitted for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
