FAIRFIELD — Fairfield police provided no update Tuesday on an investigation involving two gunshot victims.
Police at 10:15 p.m. Sunday received reports of a shooting on the 800 block of East Travis Boulevard. They responded and found a 30-year-old victim with gunshot wounds to the chest, a police press release said.
About an hour later, a 20-year-old came to a local hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg and shoulder. Both victims were expected to live, police said.
Police believe the two shootings are related. Both victims have criminal histories, the press release said.
