FAIRFIELD — Police are investigating a shooting on the 3200 block of Peach Tree Drive in Fairfield.
Initial reports indicate that one person was shot. The extent of the injury was not immediately known.
The shooting occurred at approximately 10 p.m. It’s the third shooting in less than a week that has left someone injured.
One person was shot around 1:45 a.m. Saturday on the 600 block of Parker Road. Another person was shot around 2 a.m. Sunday near Walters Road and Air Base Parkway. Police said neither victim had injuries that were life-threatening.
Police continue to investigate those shooting.
