FAIRFIELD — Police are investigating a shooting that left an 18-year-old man dead this weekend in Vallejo.

Officers were sent at 7:07 p.m. Sunday to the 1300 block of Santa Clara Street to investigate a shooting.

Witnesses said the victim, later identified as Brandon Chandler, 18, of Vallejo, was shot outside and then ran into an apartment, according to police Lt. John Whitney. Officers found that the victim had been shot several times, including in his neck.

Medical crews were not able to save the teen, Whitney said in a press release. The victim’s name was withheld pending family notification.

Anyone with information about the fatal shooting is asked to call the Vallejo Police Department at 800-488-9383 or Solano Crime Stoppers at 644-STOP. Callers may remain anonymous.

It's all the Republicans fault because they want to limit the shoveling of money at failed Vallejo public schools, welfare and unionized cop thugs. The GOP is also at fault because they won't go along with and passively accommodate unsecured and open borders of the United States.
