Call in the FBI and don't disturb the crime scene. This case is beyond the scope of what your jacklegged cops are capable of solving. Time is critical in cases like these. I hope somebody solves this quickly and the case is moved to a competent jurisdiction for prosecution if the perp is caught.

Really?? This happened in our hometown and our local paper can't even give more than one stupid sentence about it. smh...that's why everyone always goes to other newspapers to read what happens in our town. You would think this would be the first to report any news. May this young teenage girl rest in peace. her family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Its called breaking news and the staff has to wait for the police to give a news conference. Stories don't just materialize out of thin air. The staff has a duty to get the facts before writing a story. That being the case, you're lucky some details of the breaking news story are tweeted.

ispkmymind~ what exactly do you think they should write? They can only tell the public what the officers are releasing. Since this is probably a murder investigation~ they won't release much info. We're lucky to know what we know right now! From what I see, they've been doing a great job giving updates. Thank you DR!

They can write what the other papers and the news has said! Exactly what has been said by the police. Why write just this "Police found a body in Allan Witt Park early Friday"? Seriously! and it's not just about this story it's EVERY story and they usually get the some of the facts wrong and sometimes copy exactly what was written and posted hours before by someone else! btw, when I posted my comment there wasn't any "twitter" posts, so that one sentence was all I seen. And last time I checked this wasn't twitter.

hmm~ that's odd~ I've been seeing the updates all morning.

@ispkmymind: There were several Twitter posts on the report from the time it first posted, around 9 a.m. I'm not clear why you weren't seeing them.

Doesn't Allen Whitt have camera's
Reply |Debbie RFebruary 01, 2013 - 1:13 pm
Yes, I think they do have cameras. Hopefully, they work!! It would really help this case if they do. Praying for the family. Very sad...

There is a camera right by the south restrooms. But from what I know it never catches anything cuz it's always panning the wrong direction & takes forever to swing around. Let's hope it worked this time. Sad....

I received an email from the Aquatics facility that it would be closed due to a malfuctioning in the water heating system until 2/16/13...but most likely this is the reason...it seems to me to be a very safe place as there are cameras all over the park...But only there in the am...so do not know if they work good at dark...I know there was a time when that was not a safe area..but I really thought it had become very safe...you just never know...I am truely sorry for this poor girl's family..God Bless you all.

A Suisun resident victim and the Suisun cops were involved---I'm getting some popcorn---this is getting interesting.

Whoever murdered this young girl, may they be da*ned! May they also be found and brought to justice. My thoughts go out to her family.
