It appears that this tragedy is the same old story: Another innocent child who, most likely because of irresponsible parents (indicated by the words "...her guardian at a foster home...") was allowed to roam unsupervised in what used to be a safe place for children to play and paid the ultimate price at the hands of humanity's most evil.

A half century ago, California was the envy of not only the country, but of much of the world. Now, California is the laughing stock of the nation, although there's nothing about which to laugh in this situation. Since that societal cancer more commonly known as liberalism has metastasized in California, the cultural and moral decay continues unchecked and our children continue to pay the price. Crime is on the rise because the local police departments, for whom excuses are an acceptable substitute for results, do little more than the bidding for a District Attorney's office, for whom failure remains a viable option, that wastes money and resources prosecuting citizens falsely accused of victimizing minorities. He continues to pursue these charges even when presented with irrefutable (video) evidence that no such crime ever took place. He has no other objective than to curry favor with every professional racist and civil rights "activist" that comes down the pike to ensure his survival in a political system in which political correctness and social engineering are the order of the day. And our precious children pay the price. I'm so glad I defected from the People's Republic of California years ago and moved back to the United States.

Very sad to drive by Allen Witt Park knowing what this girl must of gone through. I hope the police finds who did this, and I hope I'm on the jury. Parents talk to your kids, so this will never happen again.

The fact that the cops are canvassing to dig up leads means the case is now cold. It means there is no video and it begs the question--why not? How many murder cases have now gone cold in Fairfield and Suisun? I show a lot--even the one where the Daily Republic's Newspaper deliveryman was murdered in Suisun. Meanwhile, your bumbling stumbling fumbling collosal giant government of over-taxation and failed missions tells you ''firearms bad!" and ''we need more tax money!''---despite the fact you just stupidly rewarded them with Measure P--a huge tax hike justified by their lies and incompetence. And then there's the County Leadership--Every year they take Colon Powell's wife's specious ''One of America's best communities to raise a child'' award and issue a shamanistic proclamation celebrating same.
