Police arrest 2 Suisun City residents

FAIRFIELD — Two Suisun City residents were arrested for alleged narcotics- and weapons-related offenses after the Fairfield Police Department’s Narcotic Investigations Unit and Special Operations Team executed a search warrant at a home in Suisun City, police said.

The search took place at 12:41 p.m. on the 100 block of Mosswood Drive.

Samphong Kongvongsay, 41, and Bryan Kongvongsay, 19, were booked into the Solano County Jail.

Police said the search resulted in the recovery of approximately one pound of suspected marijuana, a substantial quantity of suspected methamphetamine, two handguns and one assault rifle.
