FAIRFIELD — Three men were arrested as part of a sting to catch adults buying alcohol for minors.

The sting took place Saturday where underage decoys asked people to buy them alcohol. The businesses targeted were located on East Travis Boulevard, and North Texas and West Texas streets.

Arrested on suspicion of either buying or arranging the purchase of alcohol for minors were Michael Greene, 59, William Mitchell, 49, and Vernon Robledo Jr., 44, all of Fairfield.

The operation was funded by a grant provided by the Solano County Board of Supervisors and Fairfield’s Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Task Force.
