VACAVILLE — Two teenage boys were arrested and a third teen was at-large after a reported robbery and assault Tuesday in Andrews Park.

A 16-year-old from Suisun City and a 15-year-old from Fairfield were booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of strong-armed robbery, commercial burglary, probation violation and other alleged offenses, according to a police press release.

Officers responded to the park about 7:53 p.m. after two men were allegedly accosted by several other men who took their bicycles, a cellphone and a watch, police report.

An officer found three people shortly after in front of Lucky’s Supermarket on East Monte Vista Avenue. The three teens ran away, but one was quickly caught. A second teen was apprehended by the officer while leaving the grocery store carrying a stolen 18-pack of beer, according to the press release.

One of the stolen bikes was found near the Georgie Duke Sports Center, along with more beer that had been taken from a different market, according to police. One of the suspects also had the stolen cellphone, according to police, who said the victims positively identified the two suspects.

The teen suspects were allegedly intoxicated and both had outstanding warrants for their arrests on other charges, according to police. They both were on probation and were runaways.

The third suspect is described as a 16- to 18-year-old Hispanic male, last seen running northbound on Markham Avenue. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and a white beanie cap.

Anyone with information about the case is asked the Vacaville Police Department at 449-5200.
