VACAVILLE — A Vacaville man was arrested Tuesday after an assault on three men in downtown Vacaville.

Sgt. Todd Dye said three friends visiting family and friends in Vacaville were leaving a bar on Main Street when they were confronted by four or five people described as Hispanic or Asian male adults. A fight ensued and the three victims, whose identities were not released, tried to flee.

The suspects caught up to one victim near Town Square, where they assaulted him and knocked him to the ground. One suspect returned shortly after leaving and repeatedly stomped on and jumped on the victim, police report. The victim was transported a local hospital and was being treated for serious injuries.

A second victim was found in Andrews Park and was being treated for moderate injuries at a local hospital. The third victim was not hurt.

Witnesses helped identify two potential suspects. The first suspect, Dargye Karma, 32, was identified as the suspect who returned to allegedly stomp and jump on the first victim, police report. He was booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

A parolee was identified as a possible second suspect, but could not be positively linked to the crime and was not arrested.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Vacaville Police Department at 449-5200.
