FAIRFIELD — A Vacaville woman who faces a felony animal cruelty charge was in court briefly Wednesday morning for the setting of dates for a jury trial.
Judge Robert Bowers ordered Lillian Wohn to stand trial starting Nov. 25.
Wohn, 23, was arrested outside a Vacaville bar in May after patrons and bar employees told police they saw her kicking and twirling a newborn lamb before repeatedly trying to feed it Budweiser from a can she was carrying in her purse.
A veterinary exam of the lamb after Wohn’s arrest revealed the lamb was not hurt.
