FAIRFIELD — A high-speed chase Monday night through Fairfield streets including Travis Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue ended in American Canyon after the suspect’s stolen vehicle that had reached speeds of 90 mph along Interstate 80 slowed to 25 mph because of leaking fluids.
One person was arrested at the end of the pursuit.
Occupants of the silver Toyota Camry had been involved in a burglary Monday at a Fairfield store, the California Highway Patrol said.
Tyrannus Staccato Hill, 51, was booked into the county jail on suspicion of various felonies that include vehicle theft, evading police and possessing a controlled substance. He was also arrested on suspicion of misdemeanors that include petty theft.
Hill’s city of residence was not reported.
Bail was set at a combined $32,100, although he was held without bail based on the alleged violation of the conditions of his post-release supervision.
