FAIRFIELD — The 64-year-old owner of a Fairfield photography studio who faces 56 felony sexual assault charges involving three teenage girls was in court briefly Wednesday.
Robert L. Hoover was arrested in December 2012 after Fairfield police investigators received a report that Hoover had raped a 16-year-old girl. The investigation led to two other alleged victims, friends of the first victim.
Hoover’s attorney, Denis Honeychurch, agreed to setting a probable cause hearing for Hoover on June 7.
Hoover, owner of Nightshadow Creations Photography, has pleaded not guilty and is jailed with bail set at $2 million. After his arrest, detectives said they discovered more than 50,000 pornographic pictures on Hoover’s computer.
