Police cite 4 in Vacaville sting operation

VACAVILLE — Four store clerks in Vacaville were issued citations for allegedly selling alcohol to minors during an undercover sting operation Thursday.

The juvenile decoys, working under the direct supervision of police officers, tried to buy alcohol from businesses throughout the city, according to a press release. Purchases were attempted at 57 convenience, grocery and liquor stores.

The citations were misdemeanors, according to the press release. Those cited were Sean Forbes, 31, Sunny Kumar, 26, Kyle Hatfield, 20, and Sukhminder Grewal, 55.

    Didnt they do this a couple weeks ago? Vacaville you really dont have anything better to do with your officers time then to have them park outside 50- some odd stores just to write a few citations!? Then pay them all day just to people watch? What a job..
