Fairfield police plan DUI checkpoint Friday

FAIRFIELD — A DUI and drivers license checkpoint will take place this weekend in Fairfield to help keep drivers safe.

Police will conduct the checkpoint from 7 p.m. Friday to 1 a.m. Saturday at an undisclosed location.

Funding for this checkpoint is provided to Fairfield police by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
