FAIRFIELD — A Fairfield man arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of drug and weapons offenses will faces criminal charges.
The District Attorney’s Office filed a criminal complaint against Ward late Wednesday afternoon against Kevin D. Ward.
Fairfield police arrested Ward, 23, after they reportedly found an undisclosed amount marijuana inside an apartment on the 1100 block of Dana Drive.
Ward was booked into the county jail on suspicion of illegal possession of a firearm, changing or altering firearm marks, illegal possession of ammunition, possession or marijuana for sale and for allegedly maintaining a place for illegal drug activity.
All are felonies. Bail for the illegal possession of a firearm allegation was $15,000. Bail for the other alleged offenses was $5,000 each.
Bail, however, was moot. Ward was also held without bail for an alleged probation violation.
