SUISUN CITY — A Suisun City man was arrested early Thursday after he allegedly broke into a vehicle on Wood Duck Drive near East Wigeon Way.

A caller notified police about 8:09 a.m. of a suspected vehicle burglary that was taking place. Officers arrived and detained Damion Davis, 27, as he was leaving the area, according to a Police Department press release.

Police said Davis was in possession of property that was taken from inside the vehicle, according to the press release. Police said Davis was also in possession of property taken during two other vehicle break-ins.

Davis was booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of burglary and for an enhancement of allegedly being out on bail for another alleged felony offense, according to the release.

Police said Suisun City has seen an increase in residential and vehicle burglaries and encourage residents to remain alert and report suspicious activity by calling the Police Department at 421-7373.
