2 face allegations after alcohol sting operation
FAIRFIELD — Police arrested two Fairfield men Saturday after they allegedly bought or arranged to buy alcohol for minors.
The two men were caught during police operations that took place outside several businesses that sell alcohol on North Texas Street, East Travis Boulevard and Union Avenue. Police used underage decoys in the sting operation.
Zakariah Bass, 28, and Bryan Gonzales, 53, face misdemeanor allegations.
The decoy program is funded by a grant from the Solano County Board of Supervisors and Fairfield’s Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Task Force.
