Vallejo sees 1st homicide of 2013

FAIRFIELD — A 27-year-0ld man became Vallejo’s first homicide victim of the year Monday.

Police responded around 4:20 a.m. to the area of Borges Street and Evelyn Circle for reports of a man down. They found the man dead on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The man’s identity was being withheld pending family notification.

Anyone with information about the fatal shooting is asked to call Vallejo detectives at 800-488-9383.
