FAIRFIELD — A Vacaville auto dealer stepped up and provided the top prize for this year’s Solano Wine & Food Jubilee Raffle.

A new 2014 Buick Encore or a 2014 Nissan Altima can be won by a lucky Jubilee drawing ticket holder, thanks to Rami Yanni, general manager of three dealerships in Vacaville: Vacaville Nissan, Vacaville Dodge and Vacaville Buick GMC.

In addition to the choice of cars as a top prize, $10,000 in cash will be awarded as well, raffle chairwoman Candy Pierce said in a news release. There will be 12 winners of $125, 10 winners of $500, one winner of $1,000 and one $2,500 winner.

Odds of winning something are about 1 in 100, she said, because only 2,500 tickets will be sold. To make the deal even more enticing, raffle organizers are offering a “buy two, get one free” incentive.

The Solano Wine & Food Jubilee Raffle benefits the programs of NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 646-3133. Tickets can also be purchased with a credit card by fax at 646-3135, or in person at the NorthBay Healthcare Foundation office at 4500 Business Center Drive in Fairfield.

The winning tickets will be drawn at the 27th Annual Solano Wine & Food Jubilee, set for April 25 at the Specialty Event Center at 300 Chadbourne Road in Fairfield. Ticket-holders need not be present to win.

The 27th Annual Solano Wine & Food Jubilee is a dressy, black-tie affair – denim is discouraged. The event gets underway at 6:30 p.m. Tickets, for those age 21 and older, must be purchased in advance by calling 646-3133, or online at www.wineandfoodjubilee.org.
