Travis Credit Union offers federal defense cuts aid

Travis Credit Union has a plan to help members who face lost pay because of furloughs resulting from automatic federal defense spending cuts.

It will offer lower loan payments and extended loan terms for these members when the federal cuts take effect, a credit union press release said. From April 22 through Sept. 20, civilian employees could lose up to 20 percent of their pay due to furloughs, it said.

What about your state, county and city workers? The fed employees are just getting what we have had for the last 4 years..Disappointing, I believe all of us should close our accounts and move to a more sympathic bank..

So what you're saying is, even thought Travis Credit Union is doing a great thing, customers should leave them because it's not great enough, in you opinion?
