Total Home & Garden Show returns in April

FAIRFIELD — Spring is here and the Total Home & Garden Show is coming.

Those who want to do home renovations will find hundreds of exhibitors. Visitors can learn about everything from heating and air conditioning to flooring to hot tubs to windows to doors to solar energy. They can learn about landscaping.

The show offers people the opportunity to talk to professionals, see trends, test products, shop and save money, an event press release said.

The Total Home & Garden Show is to take place April 11-13 at the Specialty Event Center, 300 Chadbourne Road in Fairfield. This is the former Walmart building.

Hours will be noon to 6 p.m. April 11, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m April 12 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 13.

A Kiddie Corral will host the Easter Bunny, as well as have a petting zoo and other activities for children. The Boy Scouts of America will sponsor a bounce house. Elvis tribute artist Rick Torres will be there from 2 to 4 p.m. April 11, an event press release said.
