FAIRFIELD — A Suisun Valley mansion will be the site of the by-invitation Suisun Valley and Solano County Direct Investment Forum on Tuesday evening.

The Villa De Madre is a 22,882-square-foot house on Suisun Valley Road with an 80-yard vineyard. Premiere Estates and the Solano Economic Development Corp. are sponsoring the event.

Invited are business owners and chief executive officers of companies that could relocate or expand into Solano County. The event will highlight the wine industry and wine-related businesses, said Thomas “Tuvia” Sablosky, director of sales for Premiere Estates Auction Company.

Solano County is developing a more robust cluster of wine businesses, Solano EDC President Sandy Person said. She talked of the spectrum of such businesses, from vineyards and wineries to packaging.

“We have a great story to tell here,” Person said.

The Villa De Madre was built by Copart founder Willis Johnson and is for sale. Premiere Estates is conducting a Sept. 10 auction that could see the property obtain a new owner.
