The initial lease will be through June 30, followed by up to three one-year leases that are to be renewed each year. The county’s fiscal year is from July 1 through June 30. The leases are to generate $29,172 annually for the county’s airport enterprise fund.
PJ Helicopters is based in Red Bluff and serves large utility and construction companies, water agencies, agricultural interests and state, federal and local governments, a county report said. It will establish a satellite helicopter storage facility at Nut Tree Airport.
The Solano County Board of Supervisors approved the contract Tuesday.
