NorthBay program wins certification

By From page A10 | August 11, 2014

VACAVILLE — The NorthBay Joint Replacement Program in Vacaville has won certification from The Joint Commission.

To accomplish this, the program underwent onsite reviews. It had to comply with standards of care specific to the needs of patients and families, including infection prevention and control, leadership and medication management, a NorthBay Healthcare press release said.

“Certification has been a major goal since our program began and is another step toward maintaining excellence and continually improving the care we provide,” said Cynthia Giaquinto, program manager for orthopedics, in the press release.
