FAIRFIELD — NorthBay Healthcare is getting ready to grow in Green Valley.
The group has submitted a conceptual review with Fairfield to build a new office building adjacent to its administrative center at 4500 Business Center Drive. This office would house a center for primary care that’s in leased space less than a mile away, as well as provide space for hospice, bereavement, additional speciality practices and other uses.
Groundbreaking could take place before the summer, NorthBay Healthcare spokesman Steve Huddleston said. The building could provide up to 40,000 square feet of space, he said.
In its long-range plan, NorthBay Healthcare sees yet another building being constructed at the Green Valley site, he said.
NorthBay Healthcare is a locally based and managed nonprofit healthcare organization. It operates NorthBay Medical Center in Fairfield and VacaValley Hospital in Vacaville.
