FAIRFIELD — A clothing retailer with global reach announced Monday that it’s opening a store at the Solano Town Center mall in Fairfield.
H&M, or Hennes & Mauritz, will open the store this fall, according to a press release. No specific date was released.
The store will feature 24,000 square feet of retail space. H&M will offer collections for women, men, young women and young men with separate store-within-a-store areas for accessories, lingerie and sports apparel, according to the release. The store will also carry H&M’s children’s collection, which features clothing for children from newborn to 14 years of age.
H&M got its start in 2000 on Fifth Avenue in New York. The nearest locations are in Concord and Walnut Creek. H&M also has stores in Emeryville, San Rafael, San Francisco and Daly City. The store has 278 locations nationwide. H&M also has stores across the globe.
Solano Town Center mall is located at 1350 Travis Blvd.
