Mall hosts Military Appreciation Day

By From page B4 | July 29, 2013

Solano Town Center mall will host Military Appreciation Day this weekend, with Command Center Alpha among the attractions.

Command Center Alpha is the U.S. Air Force mobile marketing tour that includes 3-D computer graphics, videos, educational kiosks and digital downloads. The Air Force calls the center an “augmented reality tour” that “immerses you in the high-tech, high-action world of the United States Air Force.”

The event will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It will be located in the parking lot between Sears and Macy’s, near Starbucks.

Solano Town Center will donate $1 for every attendee to Wounded Warriors, up to $2,000. Go to www.SolanoTownCenter.com for more information. The Solano Town Center mall is located at 1350 Travis Blvd. in Fairfield.
