Kaiser Permanente has the highest customer satisfaction for health plans in California for the sixth consecutive year, according to a J.D. Powers and Associates report.
The study looked at responses from 32,726 members in 136 commercial health plans across the nation. It considered such factors as coverage and benefits, provider choice, claims processing and customer service.
Kaiser out-performed seven other health plans in California, scoring 760 on a 1,000-point scale, 60 points higher than the average health plan score in the state, a Kaiser press release said.
