FAIRFIELD — Il Fiorello Olive Oil Company will host a Greek cuisine class from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at its teaching kitchen, 2625 Mankas Corner Road.
Chef Marvin Martin will prepare a menu that includes lamb, octopus, rabbit and truffles.
Martin is a master chef, culinary educator and olive oil expert. His previous work includes a 20-year tenure as a chef for Robert Mondavi Winery and an instructor for the annual culinary series known around the world as Great Chefs.
The menu will include a selected wine pairing. Participants may take home all recipes prepared in class.
Il Fiorello will host an olive oil tasting class from 6 to 8 p.m. March 19. Instructors are Ann Sievers, owner of Il Fiorello, and Kathryn Tomajan, a certified olive oil taster.
