Free workshop for job seekers set Tuesday

FAIRFIELD — A free workshop scheduled Tuesday is designed to help job seekers learn skills to make a good impression on potential employers.

It will occur from 6 to 9 p.m. at the University of Phoenix Fairfield campus, 5253 Business Center Drive, Suite B. University faculty and staff will be available to discuss techniques to impress hiring managers, a university press release said. The workshop will cover resume writing, interview skills and building a “personal brand.”
