Food celebrity to appear in Suisun Valley

FAIRFIELD — Michele Anna Jordan will discuss and sign her book “Vinaigrettes and Other Dressings” on June 25 at Il Fiorello Olive Oil Co. in Suisun Valley.

The event will be a fundraiser for Slow Food Solano. It begins at 6 p.m. at 2625 Mankas Corner Road.

Jordan is a cookbook author, columnist, radio personality, James Beard award winner, former chef and restaurant reviewer, an event press release said.

Il Fiorello will offer samples of vinaigrettes and dressings and will highlight endive, a Solano County specialty provided by Rio Vista-based California Endive Farms. Wine will be available for purchase.
