FAIRFIELD — William O’Hara, an Automotive Service Excellence master automobile technician from Fairfield, was recently honored with a national achievement award as the Bridgestone Retail Operations/Automotive Service Excellence Master Automobile Technician of the Year.

The annual awards spotlight top scorers on the Automotive Service Excellence Certification Tests from among the ranks of the more than 330,000 Automotive Service Excellence certified professionals nationwide.

“Bill is one of the outstanding ASE-certified professionals recognized annually by different segments of the automotive service and repair industry,” said Timothy Zilke, Automotive Service Excellence president and chief executive officer, in a press release.

“We are proud to partner with Bridgestone Retail Operations to recognize Bill’s commitment to excellence in providing the very best in vehicle repair services to his extended community. This dedication is reflected in the talented professionals we recognize each year and Bill represents the best of the best.”

I am happy to see Mr. O'Hara recognized for his outstanding service and ability! I take my car to firestone and always hope he works on my car. Never had a problem with him at the wrench.
