FAIRFIELD — Oregon-based Dutch Bros. Coffee in honor of its late co-founder Dane Boersma raised $352,591 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The event took place May 2. All 221 Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in seven states donated proceeds to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which helps fight Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

“It’s an absolute mind blow,” said Travis Boersma, Dane Boersma’s brother and Dutch Bros. Coffee co-founder, in a press release. “I’m amazed and moved by everyone who works so hard in the company and super thankful for everyone who contributed to this important day.”

Dutch Bros. Coffee on April 25 opened a coffee store in Fairfield at 1420 W. Texas St.
