FAIRFIELD — The Small Business Development Center at Solano College is offering classes on how to build a better business.
Business Plan 101 is on Wednesday. Participants will learn the basic components of a business plan. They will receive an outline for a business plan they can use to grow or secure funding for their business.
Record-keeping 101 is on Thursday. Participants will learn how to set up, use and keep track of bookkeeping records and important financial information. They will find out how long to keep records and what type of records to keep.
Both classes will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the Solano College Small Business Development Center, 360 Campus Lane, Suite 102.
In addition, Getting Publicity for Your Business will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at the same site. Participants will learn about the role public relations plays in attracting and keeping customers.
