Applebee’s raising cancer cure money

By From page A10 | July 14, 2014

FAIRFIELD — Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar in Fairfield is among the 850 Applebee’s that will raise money to fight children’s cancer during July.

The restaurants are working with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Fundraising efforts, which vary by restaurant, include donating a portion of each lemonade sale through the restaurants’ Summer Squeeze promotion to the foundation.

Applebee’s raised $756,000 last year and more than $4 million since 2005, an Applebee’s press release said. The Fairfield restaurant is located at 1350 Travis Blvd., in the Solano Town Center mall.
