Fairfield fire fighters vent a window and hose down a mobile home that caught fire at the Fair Oaks Mobile Home Park on Hamilton Drive at about shortly after 2 p.m. on Thursday. The owner of the home, who was by himself at the time, heard a poping sound under the floor, felt heat and left the structure before calling 911. Four engines responded to the blaze and had it under control in about 17 minutes according to fire Capt. Matt Luckenbach. The home and everything in it were completely destroyed in the fire.
