‘Twilight’ saga returns to movie theaters Friday

FAIRFIELD — ’Tis the weekend for “Twilight” fans as “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” makes its way to the big screen. Bella is now a vampire, her newborn daughter grows at an accelerated rate and the Cullens need help to stay alive. It’s a PG-13 movie.
Opening in limited release Friday are:
- “Anna Karenina,” featuring Keira Knightley and Jude Law in an adaptation of Leo Tolstoy’s novel of the same name. It’s rated R.
- “Citadel,” also rated R, is the story of a family that is attacked, leaving a young father to raised his newborn daughter by himself. He has to head into an abandoned tower block, known as the Citadel, to save his family.
- Parker Posey stars in “Price Check,” a comedy that examines who we think we are and what we’re willing to do for the life we think we deserve. It’s not rated.
- Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert DeNiro are featured in “Silver Linings Playbook.” The plot centers on a man recently released from state prison who wants to reconcile with his wife. Enter a woman willing to help him. However, her offer comes with a price. The film is rated R.
