Quartet will perform music from Schubert, Dvorak

BENICIA — The Santa Margherita String Quartet returns to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 5 p.m. Sunday with a program of  Schubert and Dvorak.  The Benicia-based quartet will perform Dvorak’s “Quartet in E flat, opus 51″ and Schubert’s quartet in D minor, usually referred to as “Death and the Maiden.”

Previous performances in Benicia and Vallejo have included works by Kodaly, Mendelssohn, Hadyn, Bartok and Beethoven.  This performance the quartet will be violinists Clif Foster and Julie Kim, cellist Michael Graham and viola player Stephanie Ng.
