You forgot Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor--Wyman is older then Charlie Watts but retired in 1993 forcing the Stones Almighty to hire a black American musician, Daryl Jones. Wyman appeared on stage in London several nights ago for a guest appearence. I will tell you whats old--having to listen to the same show over again. In my considered opinion, the best tour and sound was the 1969 US Tour and the 1994 US / Asian Tour. I remember them as far back as 1964 when my British next door neighbors had their first album. They basically said forget about the moptops--the Stones are the future. They've had the most succesful career in all of music history. Their distinctive sound is due to the combination of 2 guitars tuned differently--Keef's is tuned to an open ''G'' chord (DGDGBD) and the other guitar is tuned standard (EADGBE).
