All joking aside, none played as brilliantly as Jimmy Page. In standard tuing, Drop D tuning, open chord tuning, unique tuning—he did it all and with the exception of Keef, he is peerless. The loss of Bonzo was too great a burden for the mighty Zeppelin to bear, but their legacy is forever. The name Led Zeppelin was originally coined by the Who’s drummer, Keith Moon and was changed to “Led” from “Lead” by Peter Grant the manager. And the rest was history…
