Cheating Daylight in semi-finals for SchoolJam USA

VACAVILLE — Cheating Daylight, whose members include Vacaville’s Crosson brothers, is in the semifinal rounds for this year’s SchoolJam USA, a national teen battle that encourages teens to play music and support their school music programs

Through Nov. 30, fans can cast one vote, every day for the band at www.schooljamusa.com.

The band that gains the most votes will receive $1,000 for their school music education program.

If Cheating Daylight ranks among the top eight overall scores determined by the public vote and a panel of music judges, they will proceed to the finals round  to compete live. The finals are Jan. 26, 2013 at Downtown Disney in Anaheim.

Cheating Daylight members are brothers Jesse Crosson, 18, Kyle Crosson, 16, Jaden Crosson, 13, Jacob Gill, 17, and Connor Gill, 13.  The Gills are from Cobb.
