Olive oil company hosts cooking class

FAIRFIELD — Il Fiorello Olive Oil Co. in Suisun Valley will host a holiday cooking class from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Participants will learn how to create special holiday hors d’oeuvres. The event includes wine, food and freshly milled olive oil. Chef Marvin Martin, who spent 20 years as chef for Robert Mondavi Winery, will lead the class.

“We are excited to share our commercial kitchen and the expertise of Chef Marvin Martin – all here in the heart of Suisun Valley,” Il Fiorello owner Mark Sievers said in a press release.

For information on the cost and to make reservations, please call 864-1529. Il Fiorello is located at 2625 Mankas Corner Road.

    I thought this might be a good PR move on behalf of Il Fiorello. That is until I read "For information on the cost and to make reservations". A cooking class for three hours? I should be able to open my own Bistro after that ;)
