ELK GROVE — Two city long jumpers leaped all the way from Elk Grove to Clovis.

Rodriguez High’s Katherine Jackson took home first place in the girls long jump and teammate Anthony Cable finished second in the boys competition at the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Track and Field Championships, Friday, automatically qualifying for the CIF State Championships next Friday and Saturday at Buchanan High in Clovis.
