Reflecting a vital retail economy and the strength of our growing market area, the Daily Republic provides an effective, colorful publication for Solano County’s local and regional advertisers.

The advertising department represents 18-20 employees whose job is to develop and process effective, successful advertising campaigns for private party advertisers, local and regional businesses alike.

With the support of the Ad Services Department to track the ad processing from beginning to completion, the advertising staff is fully trained to meet the most basic to the most complicated ad designs and programs. From in-column classified line ads to full page, full color display ads, the Daily Republic offers advertisers a quality publication to promote their business and services to a growing population.

The Daily Republic also produces advertising in two other publications, Tailwind and Solano Direct.

Tailwind:

Travis Air Force Base, home of the 60th Air Mobility Wing, largest in the military and the busiest military air terminal, plays an important role in the vitality of the Fairfield and Solano County economies. The Tailwind, published weekly by the Daily Republic, is distributed to base housing and rack locations throughout the base. More than 10,000 Tailwind copies are distributed every Friday. It reports official base news and takes an in-depth look at the human side of the military, focusing on individuals with features and stories of interest to base personnel. Local happenings, sports news, entertainment and community events give the Tailwind a local following within the base community. The Daily Republic’s advertising consultants will be glad to provide advertising rates and deadline information. Call (707) 427-6937 for advertising sales.
